Monday and Thursday is good

Since we are all on the same page, I'm going back to what I was doing in the past by listing those who still have games remaining. This is not me trying to pressure anyone into playing sooner. We have the 2 scheduled advance days for that. It is merely an update to keep us all up to speed. We used to discuss matchups and it just helps to keep things fresh. Also, some guys are very busy and may not realize they had a bye next week instead of the current week. Glad we all came together on our issues and have a positive outlook now.

Like I said I like HTF and he hasn't done a bad job but we need more right now to keep this going.....

Solid post, GP. I was talking to my LSU buddy the other day about this. I compared the situation to Keith Frazier two years ago at Auburn. Dude had all the talent in the world, won national player of the year his senior year in high school, came to Auburn expecting to run the system that he ran for 6+ years growing up, and it all got pissed away in 1 season. Go back and watch Frazier's high school film....He was an absolute stud and I still feel bad for him.

Point being is that you don't take a dual threat qb and throw him in a pro style offense that is out of his comfort zone. It can break a kid mentally and physically, especially being that young. Similar to throwing a qb in the line of fire in the NFL when they are not ready.... It just never ends well for them. It'd be like throwing McCarron or Mettenberger in a spread option offense and asking them to make magic happen.... Just doesn't work that way. Les and Cameron apparently told that 2016 qb recruit that they will be changing to a spread/run offense.... If he has to watch another season and a half of this crap then I guarantee he won't sign with ya'll.

I really wanted Brandon Harris at Auburn. He is a tremendous talent and he's just in the wrong system at the moment. If something doesn't change at LSU then I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he starts for Auburn in 2-3 years. I was telling my buddies tonight that unless ya'll change the offensive scheme now, then ya'll better start Jennings the rest of the way.... Just for the sake of Harris' mental game. LSU has legit talent now. Young, yes, but the talent is there. I've watched them a good bit this year and the only weak spot (excluding youth) is the interior d line. That can be fixed with a few JUCOs and your current DTs not stealing bikes/punching weight room windows. It was unfortunate with Gunner and Rivers not working out, but you gotta just bite the bullet and revolve your team around your talent.

Hang in their though, bud. I've been through ups and downs with Auburn over the last few years.... It has its highs and lows. 2012 was a brutal season, but you bet your arse I was watching every game with a bottle of whisky next to me. Ya'll will take it on the chin this year, but the talent is there to have a great turnaround.

Sorry for the rant. I'm a little drunk and just enjoy talking football. That's what I think this thread should be more about. It doesn't have to be strictly about our dynasty. We have a group text message going in our other dynasty and we just shoot the shite all day about football and other daily sports stuff. We have 2 Tenn fans, 1 GA, 2 AU, 1 LSU, 1 Arky, and 1 Bama in the group text. It's pretty entertaining and that's what this thread should be. I know the majority are LSU fans but it still could work.

and this. I've called HTF out multiple times but no one backed me up on this. He rarely posts in here and that's just shitty. I would back up the vote for 9's to take over. He seems like he cares the most about this dynasty, and think that's what it needs.

Did we advance? Would have been nice to know last night. I was up late I could have played.

I agree....he has done a great job but just now recently he hasn't been around.....and at this point we really need some stability to get things back on track.

If he is done, I have no problem with 9's running it.
