Just got the game and started MyTeam. Beat the Lakers in Domination and pulled Ingram. Also pulled Milsap in a starter pack. More importantly check out my threads...
And yes my TV is on the floor. I just moved and my belongings are still on a ship en route.

MyTEAM is a very fun mode. I like how you can build your team in domination. That's my favorite mode. Last year I got Maravich after beating the hawks

I got Ingram too, and I bought one pack with some VC I earned playing around and got emerald Kawhi Leonard.
Tonight I expect to finish 3-4 more domination games. Might get a few good players but the 3200 MT I have should get me at least one other emerald player on the AH to keep building.
This years Emeralds are like last year's golds. I think

Nice on the Kawhi pull. I just finished against the Jazz and I think I'm done for the night (late here). I have 4100 MT built up but I'm just being patient with the Auctions. I've got free agent Paul George and Iggy but I'm waiting a while to use them.

That's just in the "design your uniform" screen. I'm not sure why he looks so crazy there because he doesn't in the actual game.

I'm trying my hardest to move away from the "My Team" modes in sports games. I've just found myself spending more money than I care to on packs for no real reason at all. There's no grand prize for spending $200-$300 extra on top of the initial purchase. Pro-Am at least has benefits to it (2K Tournament, etc.). So I don't mind kicking out some extra cash to jump start my MyPlayer character.

PG: Robert Pack (sapphire)
SG: Steve Smith (Sapphire)
SF: Robert Horry (Sapphire)
PF: Dirk (Gold)
C : Drummond (Emerald)
Have a few emeralds coming off the bench too....Kawhi, Wall, and Jay Williams. Been running through domination teams.

I am really lucky. The AH is way easier early in the morning when I wake up at 5 am because all of the late nighters post their cards for cheap hoping to make some quick easy MT. Snipe the auctions, flip them for 500-1k profit.
I sold a few silvers I did not want, sniped / flipped 2 golds and some badges at the end of their auctions and ended up making some scratch to buy the guys I want.
Only card I really want is Anthony Davis and I will have him this weekend as I play domination for a whole day since wife and kids will be gone.

Yea just domination. You unlock some nice cards through the collector rewards. Worked the auction house for a few others.
Haven't gotten any good pulls from domination packs, but i'm still playing regular teams. Best I pulled was Dirk.

Yea I think that's right for Horry. Horry is a beast. Shot release is quick as shite, but once you get it down it's easy buckets. Solid defense too.

So I broke down and bought enough VC for a league box this weekend since my wife and kids were gone.
I got another Steph Curry and flipped him for Lebron and Steve smith (historic hawks). Also got a Russell Westbrook in that box. Sold a bunch of stuff and now my lineup looks like this:
Steph / Westbrook
Steve Smith / Harden
Lebron / Horry
Anthony Davis / Draymond Green
Boogie Cousins / Marc Gasol
Been getting 850-1100 MT per domination game and I am on the Spurs now.
I have about 20k MT right now and I think I am going to get rid of Gasol and Go for Karl Anthony-Towns to keep my athletic fast style up since you have to play super fast to get enough MT to advance
