The level didn’t bother me in the slightest.
But from a business standpoint there’s no way it makes it into the game, IMO.
I’m ok if it does somehow (miraculously) make it into the game. Maybe they can have an option to turn it on or something - would be cool.

Was there an option to skip that part? I want to say some game with a very controversial mission gave that option.

In the original game they added a button to skip the mission on the Pause screen.

Yeah the level was hugely controversial then. You could skip it and I'm pretty sure it was excluded entirely in certain countries.
I'd say I have a better chance of becoming the pope than that level making it back into the remastered version.
