MW2 Problems

Has anyone had any problems playing online/multiplayer the past few days?
For some reason, MW2 has been giving me trouble - it seems to get hung up once I click the "play online" tab, the screen will come up about "connecting to matchmaking server", typically that goes away after a few seconds like normal, it's the next screen that gets hung up, like if I go click "find game" - I believe another screen pops up that doesn't go any farther than 'fetching playlists' or whatever it says.
I tried resetting my router, turning game off/on, turning PS3 off/on. I'm not sure what the hell the problem could be, everything has been working fine up until a few days ago.
Has anyone experienced this before and/or know what could be the issue?

That's crazy I was having this exact same problem out of nowhere all of yesterday. I tried everything I knew to do and nothing worked until last night it just started working fine again.

Wheww, I thought I was the only one. It was aggravating. I spent the better part of an hour or more troubleshooting different things and nothing would work.
I plan to give it a shot again tonight....

It probably wasn't anything you were doing. The PSN was probably having problems.

So, does the PSN have issues like this occasion?
I realized it kept randomly signing me out and shite too for some reason..
