I know some have talked in the past about playing MTG. I had been out for a few years after multiple local shops closed. A couple of months ago my cousin mentioned mtg arena. Downloaded it but couldn't get through the tutorial because of flashbacks to the old duels of the planeswalkers or whatever it was called.
Just in case anyone didn't know about it or hasn't tried it. MTG arena is legit fun. I am having more fun with it than I did with paper just because of the convience. Don't have to load everything up and drive and hope someone is playing
The only thing I wish is if they had a chat system

Anyone else playing? Favorite decks? I am currently playing monowhite life gain and rogues.

Anyone playing this block? I've been having a lot of fun with green/white humans. Feel free to add me (whhe1263#29390).

I play on and off.

The best part for me is deck building and testing. I don’t pay to win so it gives me something to aim for and a reason to keep playing.

Ewwwww. It’s a good starting build but found it got boring after a bit. Just don’t run mill.

I quit the moment a landcrab enters the arena. If any of you run mill decks then I hope you find peace in knowing you are a loser even if your screen says victory. You did nothing. You are lazy and lack skill.

Magic Workstation is the free open source version that I highly recommend. It’s not as visually appealing, but you can literally build anything and play against real people any time anywhere in any format.

Nothing beats paper magic for its human interactions, bluffs, and diplomacy.
