Monster Hunter: World PC Roll Call

It's releasing on Steam on 8/9. Not sure I like this though:
Does that mean PC graphics will only be as good as console graphics at launch?

The game was fantastic on PS4. I only stopped playing because the Show 18 came out and because I got stuck on Kirin.

So everybody and their mom will be able to run this game... consoles gimping PCs once again. So happy CD Projekt Red develops Witcher and Cyberpunk for PCs.

i played a bit on ps4, it seems daunting at first but once you pick up what is going on it's not too bad. i didn't stick with it because it just seems like so much more a pc game than console

I was able to play Witcher 3, with reduced graphics, on a pretty old machine before I was able to upgrade.
Most games want to have SOME level of compatibility to work on older systems so that they can make money. Consoles have nothing to do with that.

lowering resolution and turning off HDR and shite like that are pretty simple ways to make games run fine on older systems. if the developers dont wanna spend time optimizing for the latest and greatest PCs they deserve the blame, not consoles
