I haven't even been able to get online. It will come on for a few seconds and then say I've been disconnected from the show online.

I've noticed this year the "variable" seems to be more "variable." At least it seems that way to me.
How do you use stubs?
Also, if y'all need an extra person, I'll join in. But I'm also leaving the country for 10 days at the end of May, soooooooo... I don't know what that will throw off.

No, I sent most to people offline but for you select few it says unable to send invite because you've never been online to be on the server to send the invite.
Accept my friend request on PSN so I can add you from my friends list and make sure you've gotten online to their server, maybe it was down when you were on or something.

Alright, you'll get next spot. No biggie on missing time we're all going to miss some.
Oh and to use stubs you press the TouchPad and select the store on the far right of that menu, you have to be in that mode to use them.

Odd question..
For some reason whenever I am playing MLB 14 The Show, anytime I get a message or Friend Request or Chat invite, I cannot go to the Playstation Menus and look at the stuff. I just get the side bar that says Notifications, Invites, etc. Nothing loads, everything just stays blank. anyone else have this issue?

Happened to me very first time I booted up MLB, went to friends list nothing loaded then the entire menu wouldn't load so I couldn't launch a game or do anything.
Completely shut it down and it did the double beep but hasn't done it since.

This game definitely needs some online work bad. It might be hard to draft with it the way it is. It knocks me off the Show server every time I get online. I have top notch Internet router and service.

Weird, I played 2 games online last night with minimal lag at that, as did Newteezy.

Damn. I will try to mess with it tonight some more. I have always thought that servers are different in areas. Because playing madden for instance, they might be doing maintenence somewhere and it will be shut down but somewhere else Madden is being played online perfectly.

If you're technical, give your PS4 a static IP and put it into a DMZ in your router so all ports are open for that IP.

it seems like for online play using the sticks is much easier than hitting x. The timing still isnt great at all, but it's slightly better than hitting X

I may give it a try, I've always hated analog batting even before The Show but I haven't tried since '12.

Yeah i prefer hitting the buttons. Hopefully they'll improve that. The lag in my last two games wasnt terrible, but still kind of pissed me off.
