I'm almost getting a little nervous about the draft.
What's the feeling on here? People going after hitters or pitching? I guess after a couple days of playing it will be easier to tell.

I think most of us are going for closers and middle relief in the early rounds. You should do the same.

well if I were taking part in it, i'd be going hitting all day. For the level it's going to be on, pitching quite honestly will not matter. So hopefully I can set my draft accordingly and get sluggers at each position. Only time will tell though.

Yea pitching is always important no matter what. I think I will be going Hitter, pitcher, hitter, pitcher etc....

People are silly giving away their strategies...I'm playing this one close to the vest.
I just hope I get a solid draft spot
ETA: Don't think we've talked about it, but how the heck is the in-season Amateur draft going to work?

Too many players in Draft to worry about people's strategy. Just do what you do and it will work out. Everyone will have superstar players and what not.

It's not that crazy honestly. I mean there are so many players to choose from, even if you don't get a Mike Trout, you can still get a Justin Upton or someone like that. If you don't get a Justin Verlander, you can still "settle" for a Tim Hudson.

Exactly. I've drafted in Madden so many times there is always good players to get.
