MK9 the handicap fights really freaking suck

1v2 1v3 etc these are terrible and really slow the pace of the story mode to a glacial crawl as I get stuck on these for hours at a time.
Thankfully the developers seem to have realized these sucked in the later games they worked on.

my favorite story mode in a fighting game ever. some of the fights were pure bullshite though, especially when you have to kill Shao Khan with Liu Kang. I dont remember many other ones giving me a ton of trouble though, you can do most in 2-3 tries once you get the hang of things

Story mode was awesome. Shao Kahn one of the hardest boss fights of all time. The King Lao vs Quan Chi and Shang Tsung was also sneaky difficult

It's the only one I haven't played yet. Something about it always looked extremely uninteresting. I think it's how they replaced most of the classic characters. It's like the Soul Calibur V of MK.
