My kids have just gotten into Minecraft, and I'm trying to figure it out myself. I have a couple questions that I can't find answers to.
1) We've started playing on the new updated version for the Nintendo Switch. If I purchase Minecraft for PC, can we sync our worlds?
2) We want to start off on survival mode, with no mobs spawning. What's the difference between Peaceful difficulty and Easy difficulty + cheats: mobs spawn OFF?

I have no idea but my step-son will watch youtube minecraft videos all day.

I think peaceful means no health bar. So no death.
If you do easy you have health.
It's been awhile since I played but the above should be right.

You can't sync them but you can play together

Yes, on the switch login using your Microsoft account and not Nintendo account.

I play the game when I want to mellow out and try to be creative. I wind up making the same shite every time. I am getting old.

Peaceful means you can still get hurt, but your hunger meter doesn't go down. There are no monsters either. Tools still degrade.
