I just found an underground place with rail tracks, is this a stronghold/ I have hit beadrock 6 times and no diamonds yet.

Just upgraded my house to a three stories. First story is the living room, second story is the bedroom, third story is the shrine to the almighty cake.
I can't find any wolves right now. I found a pack of five the first night but had no bones. I found and tamed 3 but can't find the last 2 for the achievement.

Not sure what happened but the game didn't save correctly last night and Geebs lost all that work he was doing on his Basement. Sorry, man.

Sorry I didn't come back. I had company and my brother started messing around with it so I just let him stay in my world on my xbox. 7 Diamonds, 5 obsidian, diamond pick axe, diamond sword all in the inventory and that bastard goes to mine some more obsidian I had made and he falls straight down into lava

Today I was screwing around and all of a sudden a guy on my friends list joins my game. I naturally saved my game just for insurance. This guy seemed to be pretty good. Didn't break anything, left my cake shrine alone. Then he leaves. So I assumed he didn't screw me over and put the finishing touches on my underground farm. I realize I need a new Iron sword, so I go down to my chest and all my Iron is gone. Along with coal and some other stuff. I reload my previous save and sure enough all my Iron is back in my chest. Didn't confront him but I removed him from my friends lists. Does the stuff he take even carry over to his game or was he just being an a-hole? He took a full stack of Iron and 2 full stacks of coal . At least I saved.

He was only there for about a minute or two and I was usually near him. Guess he thought he could get some easy materials.

Hey I got a question and I figure y'all can help me. Where do I find the diamond stuff at. On my little world I dug all the way to bedrock in 4 different spots and found nothing.

No, strongholds are in villages I think. You just found an abandoned mineshaft, thats all. usually has a lot of resources nearby though

The world is programmed to generate 1 diamond vein per chunk, with each vein containing anywhere from 1-9 diamond blocks. Diamond veins can only be found at a Y value of 17 and below as well.
So just keep digging near bedrock and eventually you'll find a vein. Look into branch mining if you want to increase your efficiency.

I'm not sure what he found, but abandoned mineshafts aren't in the game currently.

Holy shite. I just realized how fun hardcore mode in MP will be when they implant it. I never got to play it, but I love the idea of Hardcore mode. That's what I want before any other PC feature.

Leave a breadcrumb trail of torches. Hang some on the walls if you need to see, but put the ones that will lead you out on the floor. Still might get a little lost, but this certainly helps.
