To the people who have played this. What out of 10 would you give this game?

I've only played this for 2 hours but so far I don't see anything to contradict the reviews that are praising it.

I am thinking about buying this this weekend but I am not a huge fan of the AC and Batman games, they are ok but I didn't like them as much as other people. Is it linear or open world?

It's open world. Even the story missions split up into separate pieces that you can choose from. The fun is in the gameplay. The story is t too spectacular, but I would recommend doing several story missions early on to unlock some useful abilities.

OT 5.8
IRL 8.0
ETA: And I'm not a big fan of Assassins Creed games, though I enjoyed Arkham.

FYI...
It took me far too long to realize those missions come with great bonuses.

I've done a couple of golem missions, made ratbag a war chief, and I rescued some dude's wife and killed 2 war chiefs...that's about it so far. I'm enjoying it. I just like cutting off their heads and shite. Too many will really pile on you.

Yeah, i was running to somewhere last night and i came across two orcs, so i said screw it and jumped them, instead of sneaking them. next thing i knew i had like 30 orcs on top of me.

Any orc with a bow and arrow frick them. I can take on 8 guys but once a bow and arrow comes into play I have to run

Nah man, it's the fricking spearmen and most annoying of them all is the poison spitting ghuls.
Btw, it's spelled gollum

I love this game so far. Combat was only meh at first but it is awesome once you get some of the abilities!

Shadow Strike is awesome

I'm doing a lot of side missions, what main mission is needed for shadow strike?
Posted on 10/4/14 at 3:05 pm to Byron Bojangles III
It's the cave mission with Gollum. Not that far into the main story.
Posted on 10/4/14 at 3:22 pm to DumpsterFire
What the Hell I did that mission. They introduce the spear people right after right?
Posted on 10/4/14 at 4:23 pm to Byron Bojangles III
Is this game like AC? I really don't like those games.
