Finally got around to playing this one. I generally suck at action games but once I got a handle on how to use the parry and blade system it all clicked and was fun as hell. If any of yall let this one slip through the cracks last gen and are an fans of Metal Gear or other Platinum action games highly recommend giving it a shot.

Yep, this game is so damn good. Could never get into MGS games as I hate stealth gameplay. Loved the combat system and upgrades in MGR. I'm still surprised we never got a sequel to it tho.

good game, but a bit too easy (even on the harder difficulties). parrying was too easy to master.

Is Bayonetta more difficult? Thinking about giving that a try next

Bayonetta 1 was hard as hell. Bayonetta 2 was basically just as easy as MGR.
