Tough for me to get into the cups, since I played it on the Wii U. But the online is amazing.

I played the shite out of it on Wii U, did they change online for Switch?

Is it different?

Love how they fixed the battle mode

Do we have an idea of a good weekly time for our tournament? We did Saturdays on MK8. Not sure I liked that too much.

I played it at a friend's house who never plays video games. It's really fun with others.

It sold almost 500,000 copies day 1 in the US.

Didn't get to play much at all but the game feels better than I remember. Maybe it is just the new Pro Controller?

I'm really interested in doing Battle Nights over regular races. Honestly might be burnt out from all the 3 starring just 2.5yrs ago.

For some reason I feel drifting in general is just improved, way smoother.

This. I think we can switch it up from time to time, but I'm primarily interested in Battle Mode too. I just don't like how the tournament system works. It's the only way to group together, but it has to be on a schedule.

I'm down for some mario kart, if I'm ever available during the agreed upon time.

Friend code is in the stickied thread. I'll get around to adding folks in the coming days.

Is 200cc really just about riding your brake the whole time? Anytime I get a power slide or any kind of boost off I'm slamming into a wall

Ok, let's pick a time:

7 or 8 pm CST on:
Monday?
Tuesday?
Wednesday?
Thursday?

I'd vote 8pm on Wednesdays

We should also setup a second one, maybe like 3pm on Sundays?

I just don't know a single person that owns a Switch in my area. So, only opportunities would be online, which I haven't done yet.

I bring mine to work and during the course of an 9 or 10 hour day my brother and I will play a couple of races.

I agree though that friends with switches is pretty much not happening because i'm the only adult I know that likes video games, but even if I did have friends that liked video games, the switch is hard to come by.

Few things as satisfying as finishing 3 races of a Grand Prix in 1st and with the finish line in sight on the 4th shelling the guy in front of you by a lot to take first. I also had a shell homing on me that hit him instead of me
