since you obviously arent getting the point and need a little help let me walk you through this.
1.)I dont rely on 1887's.I use them like you would in game situations. CQC,room clearing, or instead of reloading(see I actuall fire my rifle). Conversley I have no problem with people who tac-knife as a SECONDARY option.
2.)If you used the 1887's pre-patch as a primary weapon Im sure I'm on a long list of guys who hate you.(not you personally but you get the point).
3.)If you run around and tac-knife

it is a glitch, if you ever see someone running, they are running hunched over
like in w@w you could run around with the bouncing betty out on hardcore and knife your team and not get kicked for it, you ran around hunched over

ive honestly done it once. i was on skidrow and running through that 2nd floor hallway stabbing errbody on TDM..then i went and hid in a corner and called in all 5 of my care packages

I dont do care pakages anymore they are like bad guy magnets if your not careful. There is nothing more embarrasing then waiting on a care pkg gettin smoked and having your pkg stolen by the other team. Especially if its a chopper gunner or ac-130.

I love killing people when they try to get their care packages. Even better is when his teammates try to take it when he dies...it's sometimes a three or four kill massacre.

kill as many as i could. usually 4-6 kills before id get wet. kept running around, back and forth through the hallway, killing folks. then realized a had a whole lot of care packages to call in
thats honestly the only game ive ever used that glitch. my team won by a lot

Agreed. Big reason why unless its an open area with cover I dont bother. Plus I like the Predator-harrier-pavelow more.
I always tell the guy who drops the ammo pkg to leave it so we can ambush fools! That is pure comedy. They dont know its only ammo and come running like forrest gump!

Using akimbo shotguns in any form, especially shotguns like the 1887s, is equivalent to lunging at someone from 30 feet with a knife. Neither of them make sense, so your "point" is moot.
But they've nerf'd the tac-knife anyway. It doesn't nearly have the range it did whenever I was getting knifed by people using it.
Like someone else said before, why are you people getting mad that we bring a knife to a gun fight? You should have no problem killing someone that doesn't shoot at you. Shotgun > Knifer. And that's coming from a knifer

People get mad when you faggy knifers come around a close corner, i put an entire clip in your arse, and you still are able to get a kill on me.

The knifers seem to have the ability to live through one or two bursts from an M16 as they lunge to knife. That's pure crap and I think that's what everyone thinks is gay. It's like when a guy goes into Last Stand--they seem invincible for about a second or two, just long enough to plant a round in my face. It's queer.

yeah, i think once they start the melee attack and begin warping at you there's nothing you can do. i really don't mind these guys though--the ones who do it well are frustrating. but a lot of them just run straight at me and i'm able to wax them with my RPD, and then teabag them.
if i have any pet peeves about the game, they're:
1. silenced sniper rifles aren't one hit kills to the head--wtf?
2. claymores are nerfed
3. nuke boosters
4. the 10th prestige hack

I have no problem shooting you.The main problem I have is that in most not all cases you are running around corners and ducking into buildings. Next time you go on your Nightmare on elm street re-enactment count how many peep's you knife from the front(without lucking into someone) or from the back . knifing people in the back with warp speed is way down on the totem pole of badassness then akimbo anything...again just IMO.

This rarely happens for me, but I wish it did.
Usually, it's the complete opposite. I'll go to knife and I'll see the hit animation but no kill, then I'm watching a kill cam...
This ratio is about 2:1 honestly. The only people I ever have the opportunity to knife in the back are campers that sit at the same window all game. And I think everyone here can agree that they deserve getting knifed in the back.

+1...and the front,side,top and down. Altho I do enjoy finding em and looking at em for a couple seconds so they see me in their kill cam sizing em up for a head shot. Two shots with a silencer....WTF?
