GOG reports 3 hours to beat?? Wow.

It has been so long that I do not even remember if I did. I know it was easy to soft lock so multiple saves are necessary. Isn't there multiple ways to beat it?

Is there a way to co-op or party play this? Would anyone be interested?

I believe this was one of the first games with multiple endings though, or at least multiple ways to beat it. Its worth repeated playthroughs.

It definitely had multiple endings

From wikipedia

Maniac Mansion has five possible endings, based on which characters are chosen, which survive, and what the characters accomplish

I'd never heard of this somehow.
Reminds me of Hugo's House of Horrors.

I'm only aware of 3 endings....
1) I get frustrated and quit
2) All 3 of my players get locked in the dungeon
3) I blow up the house

This one is a cult classic. A lot of people back in the day needed the manual that came with it, the Nintendo power, or the video game help line to try and beat it

Yeah I'm surprised I never heard of it or played it. I played the shite outta Hugo and games like this back in the day.
I thought maybe I just played it and forgot since it's been so long, but I watched part of a play through and I don't remember it at all. I'm pretty sure I would remember it since you have more than 1 character to play.
I may have to check it out if I get time.

I beat Day of the Tentacle, the Monkey Island games, and Zac McKracken though. Manic Mansion was just next level in comparison.
