i'm techincally not suppose to be posting but I'm sure they won't mind this, but I was playing a franchise user user game and this shite happened. I sacked his QB on my own 7 and picked up the fumble. While i was picking up the fumble, his player tackled mine and got a facemask penalty. I accepted it on his 3 yard line lol scored the next play.

I am trying to think of ways code is written to have this result be an else in a line of if/then statements.
Both this and the story from the poster occur in the redzone...that could be it.
