Looks promising. I watched the first 18 minutes of the game and I like what I see so far so I will probably be picking it up. Still can't beat the first one though.

I purchased a GameCube in 8th grade off eBay during release. Only game I had for a month was Luigi's Mansion.

It's an experience. Always loved the visuals.

That game has so much replay value. I always watch Game Grumps playthrough around Halloween. Well, I watch them get 3/4 of the way through it and then stop playing it.

What is crazy I associate Luigi's Mansion with the Holiday Season. I guess because the GameCube launch?

Sort of like Harry Potter. It's a Christmas movie for me.

I also have the DS one but never finished. Something wasn't fun about it, can't remember though.

It's on the DS. I didn't finish OoT on the 3DS because I couldn't get into the game like I do when it's on the television.

Yea, maybe that was it. Idk.

Also feel the same about OoT and MM on 3DS. Never could finish, but had no problem with LBW.

Luigi's Mansion is one of the great gaming mysteries to me. It's such a simple game but it's so unbelievably satisfying and fun to play, but not in the same way most "simple" games are that just take advantage of the carrot on a stick/gambling/psychologically manipulating approach.

If you explained the game mechanics of Luigi's Mansion with little to no context to someone, they'd probably assume one playthrough if that.

I got the switch mostly for Zelda and Mario. I've never played a Luigi's Mansion game before. I assume it would be a good game considering most Nintendo games in the Mario line are good. Is the game play similar to Mario at all? It's ok if it isn't. I'm just wondering if it's worth getting before Links Awakening.

It's so weirdly creative that I totally understand the charm it has for certain people. There really is nothing like it. But I could understand people who don't.

It is pure Nintendo though. And if you like their general charm and attention to details, and building unique experiences, then you'll probably enjoy it. If you play games to play AAA style experiences, there's always a chance you won't. It isn't an RPG/Action/FPS/Arena game.

I went ahead and picked it up. Never played an entry in this series, but it looks like it has a certain charm.

And I’m hopeful that the MP modes are a little entertaining, always looking for new couch coop experiences for the switch.

Got it and played for a few hours. Exactly like the first one, and I mean that in a great way. It’s the same exact mechanics but with new gadgets and a pretty big mansion. If you like the first one you will 100% like this one

Picked it up and played for a few hours as well. I'm loving it so far. One thing about my play style that has drastically changed from the first game is that I spend a ridiculous amount of time exploring and trying to any money possible
