Y'all been playing or did we lose everyone? I hit 50 a few days ago on my bard, been dipping my toes in the endgame content

You're playing a lot of stuff to completion if you're 48 in Anikka! You still have all of Arthetine and some of Vern to do to unlock your end game material. They overwhelm you with information right at 50. I'm taking my time researching it all so I get it right.

I'm halfway to 51.

Gunslinger

Doing the daily's and as many dungeons as it will allow.

Also messing with the Una(?) quests.

I completely forgot about the weapon honing.

I feel like it will be interesting when I try another class/character coming from the gunslinger and her unique abilities setup.

I used my powerpass on a Gunslinger. Still not sure what I'll use my last one on.

Finished Shushire last night. Not sure what i want to use my power pass on. I play Bard right now so I want it to be a DPS. Thinking sorc or gunslinger

I played MapleStory for years. Lost Ark is easy mode compared to that.

So...here's the rundown.
To start, yes the leveling process is a bit slow, but it slowly introduces you to the game with all it's mechanics. There is a lot to do in Lost Ark, and you will be occupied for a long time doing these things. You can play as many classes as you want, but ultimately the main goal is to have your alternate characters help "push" your main with materials for helping upgrade. It's a pretty simple climb. Another great website is maxroll. Lots of top players write guides and show you basically everything you need to know here. If you have multiple characters, here (DailyArk) is a daily/weekly tracker to keep track of your activities. It saves your progress and resets, just check off what you do or hide/whatever and it'll reset on the timers above. If you are new to lost ark and want a road map, try this and this. If you are looking for adventure tome stuff, Lost Ark Map is a great resource.

The game hosts a numerous amount of activities such as:
Chaos Dungeons - endless mob farm for materials.
Guardian Raids - boss fights that differ in mechanics.
Abyss Dungeons - raids that are beginner friendly and introduction.
Abyss Raid - harder raids that require lots more coordination.
Stronghold - House/Castle decorating RP stuff. (Important to level it)
Islands - LOTS of unique experiences with quests and fun activities.
Arkesia Grand Prix - Timed event right now like Mario Kart.
LifeSkills - Woodcutting, Mining, etc.
PvP - 3v3 arenas, 1v1s, 1v3s (potentially) and GvGs.
This list is to name a few, but LOTS of activities.

Gearing is possibly the best option right now in these MMOs because your gear doesn't break, etc... You just grind materials and +15 it, and move on to next section. Sure you may fail a bit, but it's fine everyone does. The point is, everyone will eventually catch up to the "whales" of the game which are the spenders. They are spending to go faster, but you'll all get the same content eventually.

Lost Ark will definitely get a shite ton better after you hit Tier 3. TLDR: AGS left out a bunch of things for the 1340-1370 deadzone as they are calling it. The game is DEFINITELY not pay to win. Have you ever played warframe? It's like that with platinum. It's pay to RUSH. You will not miss out on ANYTHING. Play at your own pace. The devs at smilegate want everyone to go to T3, that's where it really shines with content and dungeons, and raids, and all kinds of other things. Even in the KR version you basically start at ilvl 1302, because that's where the game actually begins. It really starts to slow down after 1300+ because they are still adding stuff to the game and the story according to the devs is only %10 finished. That's....amazing. We don't have tier 4 yet and where KR have been for quite some time now. So don't rush, you'll get there eventually.

ETA: The people who are 1370+ right now have paid or have an insane amount of playtime in the game. They are also bored, because they rushed for no reason and have nothing to do. AGS have left out important honing updates and dungeons/T3 tower to help the non payers progress. The official forums are on fire right now because of it, and AGS is trying to put out the fires. They have excluded a bunch of stuff from the game from when the KR/RU versions got the argos update so, needless to say there is much complaining right now. The strategy right now is just play what you like, get 1340 and get another alt to 1340, etc...Eventually if you are F2P, to help keep up multiple characters in T3 to help supplement your main character. Sell your mats (the non bound ones) and just hold them until the honing updates come and get rich off the whales. Depending on your server, your material prices might start to decline by now.
