Dude is a great guitar player.. I watched him do austin city limits a while back and it was awesome. You can tell he is influenced by older players like eric clapton

I saw a concert of his on Palladia. It was filled with teenage girls and he opened the show with a 15 minute blues jam. I'm sure these girls were like, WTF? Even his radio hits had added jam segments.
I was enjoying it.

My grandfather is a incredible guitar player who hates anything new.. Even he liked john mayer.. Not so much his radio shite as much as some of his not so popular stuff that wasn't wrote specifically for the radio.
