KH3 reminded first time playing

Hello all,
I am a big fan of kingdom hearts but was severely disappointed with its final outing, particularly in the area of all things combat related and some ludicrous story moves. This dlc/reimagining wont help the second part or even recontecualize it. However, while i still maintain asking 30$ for it is ridiculous to this fricking day, I played the all included version. It does make the combat more enjoyable or in line with what most expected as it tells a story ongoing at the time of the "final battle" part of kh3, its a spoiler but the part where all the good guys die that part, and is basically a big boss rush mode.
Anyone else like it, and yes im 2 years late or close to something like that I know

KH3 was most certainly a massive disappointment given how good KH2 was. The ending sequence is pretty cool, but everything else leading up to it feels like filler imo. I probably need to give it another replay because I last played it on launch (Jan 2019). I remember liking the Toy Story world and thinking a lot of the combo moves you would do were a bit overpowered. Don't remember much else besides being disappointed.

I played KH 1, 2, and 3 and I can honestly say by the end of 3 I didn’t have the slightest clue what the frick was going on storywise

If you can get an edition that includes the dlc it’s a wel worth it for the combat alone I’d say plus the bits it does add to the story. It’s like 4.5 hours long playing on critical and there was like 13 bosses maybe more. There’s also a highlight boss fight that calls back to arguably the best one from kh1

1 and 2 were 13 year old cfish’s favorite games of all time back when they first came out. When 3 was getting ready to come out I tried to watch a 30 min YouTube video explaining the story so I could play it and know what’s going on and got so frickin confused even after watching it 3 times. Never ended up playing it

The Disney worlds and lack of FF characters which this dlc reminded does bring back to its credit, were mostly all terrible. Never tied into the overall plot as they used to but a few. Just time wasters. Yuffie Squall Cloud Seph and a few surprises show up in this
