Is the virus going to extend the generational lifespan of the switch?

With the massive demand is Nintendo going to ride this gravy train for an extra year or two in your opinion?

All public comments said they were aiming for a longer than normal console life as it is, so probably yes.

I think they are going to continue to rely on indie games heavily for that to happen.

And I think the next console is the Wii U version of the switch. An upgrade to bring it to this gen's power level in home and handheld, or a more varied console with a wider disparity between in home and handheld.

The console is only 3 years old. I don’t see why Nintendo would be in such a big hurry.

Plus it's not like Nintendo has cared about graphics over the last 10+ years.

I hope so.

I love my switch.

Nintendo completely won me back with the switch.

Same. I think I like it as much as the kids. Haven’t had this much fun with a system in 15 years.

The switch is an awesome system. They have made some really great games you can spend hours playing.

Only reason I would change consoles now is if they released the next Zelda only on a new system.

Exactly. I think graphically, I don't know how much further Nintendo can go, so just milk this system for all it's worth because it's definitely one of the most popular.

My only wish is they would add more SNES games faster, especially now with everyone quarantined (if they put Earthbound and Super Mario RPG in there I would be so happy)
