I travel a good bit and I have been wanting a switch.

I also don’t really have a TV to plug the Switch into at home. Limited space on the shelf and PS4 is in that space.

Depends. Do you enjoy portable gaming or do you prefer playing on the big screen? The reg Switch docked does not require that much space. Are you sure you cannot fit that with the TV you use your PS4 on?

I would get a regular Switch for the detachable joycons and what not.

I travel a bit (well, not right now :lol), and it always comes with me and I don't have a problem with it's size.

If you could pick one game, which would it be?

Depends on what you likfe.

Adventure: Zelda: BotW
RPGs: Xenoblade 2 or Fire Emblem
3D Platformers: Odyssey or Mario Maker 2
Strategy: Mario vs. Rabbids or Fire Emblem
Platformers: Maker or Hollow Knight or DK: Tropical Freeze
Racing: Mario Kart

Or the plethora of games that you may not have played during the last gen like

Thinking about getting one too. Some of the titles interest me like Mario Maker 2 and Zelda. I also want to try a Pokémon game for the first time in like a decade

Outside of that, the only thing holding me back is whether I would use it enough to warrant $300

Depends on what you like to play. We love Kart and Party. The handheld only option just doesn't work for us.

Also, I couldn't play handheld for long periods, the layout isn't very ergo. Doesn't help that the Nintendo Pro controller is one of my favorite controllers.

I mean the pure form factor of it makes it impossible not to use if you like video games.

That's one of the main reasons it has sold so much.
