Is Dying Light 2 worth it?

I hear it's worse than 1. Apparently 1 is a zombie game with parkour and 2 is a parkour game with some zombies.

I got it for free with PlayStation plus, so it was worth it to me I guess. It’s not a fantastic game, and I enjoyed the first

i played it.
i rented it so i enjoyed it and thought it was worth it.
full price, id say no. catch it on 10 buck sale, sure.

Worse? How? It's an awesome game. I plan on starting my 2nd play through soon to make different choices and see how the story plays out.

I think I enjoy 1 more than 2. 2 leans more into Ubisoft-style open-world design. 1 feels like it has more handcrafted side quests.
I also really hate the generator puzzles in 2.
