Nano Virus is somewhat overwhelming at the beginning.
i had only 10 people in Saudia Arabia, my initial country, infected and the cure was already at 20%
just pray for fast transmission and even faster death rates.

frick this game
i spend all morning getting 98% of the world infected with this fungus, only to have the host killed off b/c Madagascar couldn't get infected and everyone died.
180 DNA points. I was killing people off faster than Croacka ruining an undershirt

They protected ships right off the bat from carrying the disease. And by the time it spread to another continent airports were shutting down FMV

don't start adding symptoms until you've got the whole world infected.
there's a blip that comes up that tells you no one in the world is healthy.
that's when you rain down terror upon them.
the best feelings is when you win the race against the cure by killing off so many. the cure meter steadily moving, then around 80-90% of the world is dead is doesn't move. awesome

Devolve all symptoms mutated until you've got 75& of world infected. This plague kills without needing any symptoms thus it moving soo fast and you not needing to push symptoms until late to finish the game off.
Then push: Rash > Sweating > Skin Lesions > Necrosis > Hemorrhagic Shock
to kill off colder countries first. they are a pain in the arse on this plague type.
it's real real quick. last about 6 minutes.

I'm still on bacteria I get the entire world infected start killing people then I can't get anymore points to fight the cure

devolve back your transmissions and a few of the abilities except for the genetic reshuffling and genetic hardening.
that'll get you 20-26 DNA, but ensure you've already got 20-30 DNA before that.
60-70 is enough to kill off the world.

i did the exact same gameplan for nano-virus as i did for bio-weapon.
that is a pretty solid plan for any disease type.
