In NCAA 13, did anyone here successfully run the Wildcat?

Even if just twice a game? I try it here and there sometimes (CPU, I know humans would stop it), but it's like someone is ALWAYS coming free to hit the back as soon as he gets the ball. Likely a result of the horrible blocking AI, but has anyone ever successfully ran it multiple times in a single game?

2-5 Times a game. Any more and you'll be losing 3 yards a play

Only when it was used as a glitch play for the first month or so, online.

I run pass plays out of it often still though.

It works for me around the goal line. defense almost always stacks the middle with 9 guys. Hand it off to the sweep man and its an easy TD almost every time.

pretty much my experience in every football game.

I'm far and away from the best EA sports football player but I don't think its me when the ball carrier is getting destroyed just as he gets the ball.

Yeah I'll run it once or twice a game just to see how the defense reacts to it. It rarely works though. When it does its usually handing off to the sweep man and the blocking just so happens to also be perfect.

The wildcat is stupid in this years version of the game. I ran it in 2011 with OSU and I would have a bunch of success, I loved it. But in the game now, pretty much the only play that will ever work is the jet sweep because the RB that starts as the QB takes forever to build up speed. If you try to run it with him, it takes 3 or 4 steps for him to get to his normal speed, if they just made that guy quicker then the play would be more successful. It also sucks that there isn't a jet sweep/read option play in there. Sometimes there is an overhang defender and I want to audible but there is nothing you can do about it. In reality almost all running plays from the wildcat are read options. Sometimes there is an overhang defender and I want to audible but they don't let you audible out of it which is also stupid. Dammit EA

Didn't have '13 but on the ones before that the Wildcat spread version was lethal with Onterio McCallebb on the speed sweep.

This.

If you are inside the 4 yard line they CPU goes to goal line formation. I have the Wildcat formation "Fight Song" and the only play I ever run is the jet sweep.

You can score on that play 9 out of 10 times on Heisman even with adjusted sliders.

This is what I did with it.
