I want 3 4k monitors, what GPUs?

Looking to upgrade my computer monitor situation. Currently running 3 1080 monitors for my MacBook Pro 16 2019 via an external rx480 or rx580, I don't remember, and also running 2 of those monitor on with my windows desktop with an old 1050ti. I want to upgrade the windows GPU so I can run 3 4k monitors, 2 at 60fps and the center one at 120fps for when I want to game. My taste in games hasn't changed over the last 5 years so I'll probably only be playing PUBG, CSGO, rocket league and maybe some warzone. Would a 3070ti suffice or do I need to go up to a 3080ti or 3090ti? Don't have the desktop on hand but believe the processor is a 10th gen i7 with 16gb ram. Also going to upgrade the eGPU for my MPB and have to stay in AMD for the eGPU as they are natively supported. No gaming just was 60fps. Choices there would be 5700xt, 6800xt or 6900xt.

You’ll need something really beefy for 4k/144. 3090, 6950xt, etc

As much as I think the current price point is shitty and don't necessarily recommend it in a vacuum, I think I would say the newly released 7900XTX. I think it has the rasterization performance, I/O, and total possible resolution that would meet your very specific criteria.

I guess I'm not necessarily opposed to just going up to 1440p to be less taxing on the GPU, but I'm a software engineer staring at text all day and Ive seen some people complain about text on 1440p. But I mean I currently use 1080p so it's gotta be better than that right?

Appreciate the input Joshjrn, that rx GPU I mentioned is the one you hooked me up with when I was in a bind during the great GPU gougings a year or so ago.

1440 will look markedly better than 1080, but text heavy applications is one of the few usage cases in which I think 4k is justified.

I run a single 4k/144hz with two side 4k/60hz monitors. I rock a 6900xt and 9900k

Which game? That sounds CPU limited at 1440p to me.

Ah yeah that's it, and it's been great so thanks again! Think I'm going to try the 6900xt for the windows pc since someone mentioned they have it working in a similar setup. If that doesn't work I'll slot that into the eGPU for my work MacBook Pro and probably go for the 7900xtx when I can find one in stock.
