I didn't like DS2 at first, specifically referring to SotFS, but it definitely grew on me. I will give it a playthrough every once in awhile.

I'm in the minority, but SotFS is one of my favorites in the series.

I’m playing SotFS for the first time right now. Enjoying it, but it’s definitely behind Demons and DS1.

I know it’s just a cosmetic thing but what were they thinking with the way you look when Hollow? It’s like a Frankenstein cartoon. You have to wear a full-face helm to take the game seriously.

I played about halfway through DS2, and I said frick this game.

About 3-4 months later I started thinking 'ya know, that really wasn't a bad game'

I started over, thoroughly enjoyed it, and beat the game. Completely different game than 1 and 3.

it's a fine game on its own, but can't hold the jockstrap of 1, 3, or BB

I just went to buy Sekiro bc I havent played it yet due to a huge backlog and it's still at $59.99 everywhere.

Crazy I guess it has something to do with the GOTY but usually that reduces the price.

Couldn't even find a pre-owned either. Guess I'll wait some more.

Thanks man, I'm guessing I'll jump into Skyrim VR instead since I've never played it

Dark Souls and the genre it would go on to spawn (shout out to OG Demons Souls) is as important to video games as Super Mario Bros and Doom were.

I've played hundreds of great video games but playing Dark Souls was the closest thing I've have had to a religious experience while gaming.

I agree 100%, but I also had this feeling recently, with Resident Evil 7 in full VR.

I have memories of being IN the house in that game. Real actual memories. It's wicked
