If you only plan to play one, play Black Flag.

Origins and Odyssey are both good.

Play the first one. Blow through it. The game itself isn’t good but story is good imo

Odyssey was great, they went too far with too much in Valhalla. I finished it but only because I was watching the Vikings series at the same time. Black Flag is the best of them all.

I loved Black Flag. My fav is AC2 with BF a very close second

start with the older ones does
1 is good but it’s graphics don’t compare to 2 so I had issues going back and playing it.
2 has a the best storyline and strong sequels. if you only played one game i’d go with AC 2.
Black Flags is an awesome pirate game if you like pirates.

to me, Black Flag was just way way more fun than any before or since.
It isn't even really comparable. I love the architecture of Assassin's Creed 2 and the one in Constantinople a lot but Black Flag was the most fun by far imo.
