How long should I have Dragon Age: Inquisition before deciding I don't like it?

I've never been able to sit and play it for more than an hour. The game is just insanely boring so far. What's a good point of gameplay time to accurately decide whether I like the game or not?

How far have you actually made it?
There is a huge event pretty kinda early on that makes you realize that everything you had been doing was pretty much just a prologue. If you had reached that point you know 100% what I'm saying. If you haven't reached that point then I would say you play until past that.

Finish the quest "In Your Heart Shall Burn".
Then decide.
Then decide.

Also what classes did you find the most fun? I typically go for rogue/assassin/hunter type classes but it's been kinda meh so far.

After you get the hang of the combat, get out of the Hinterlands.
Most people spend too much time there. I liked everything there, but the story doesn't move along until you leave the Hinterlands.

I preferred my Warrior most. I thought the NPC's AI were generally shite, so I led everything / tanked. Grappling hook for the win.

Honestly it took my a while to get into it before I was absorbed. Give it time and try a Mage

I felt kind of the same way after I spent like 30-hours in the fricking Hinterlands and then BAM, oh hey, you actually just started the game.

If you like Skyrim and Fall Out you will like it. If you don't you won't.

I don't think they are the same

I'd go with a mage or archer rogue for inquisition. They did a fairly crappy job with melee classes in inquisition, particularly compared to origins, where all the classes were fairly balanced. Mages blow everything away in inquisition.
And I'd echo everyone else that you should play through in your heart shall burn. The Hinterlands are a little slow.

Yep, I could see the comparison with The Witcher. But even that is a stretch.

We're talking about In Your Heart Shall Burn, which is the Zelda:LTTP-esk "congrats on your three pendants and master sword, now come play our game" moment.
For some people (that stayed on the hinterlands way too long), about 40 hours into the game

This. When the game was released, Bioware had to release a statement urging fans to get. out. of. there. The game really picks up after that.
