BEWARE!
All footage is on a PC.The game is being ported 2 console rather then the other way around. DICE said they prefer the PC to console port.
They said it will be the best looking game on console.

either way, what i'm saying is, if you download the video out of the store, the quality of the video will be better than compared to gametrailers, ign, youtube, etc. you'll have a better understanding of how it looks on the tv you normally play your games on. thats where alot of people make this mistake. people can have comparison videos of crysis 2, but you really won't see the differences until you see it on your own tv.

What you see now is not how it will look on your TV with your console.....unless your TV is a monitor and your Console is a PC.

I watched the footage on a 43" HD yesterday and it was simply awesome.

Now I see what you're saying. But, in truth, you're only seeing the PC footage on your TV. That means little to me until I see the console version on my TV. All in all, though, the game is looking outstanding. Especially for a pre alpha build.

Good point. I wasn't even thinking about it in terms of power. I watched the footage you posted on my 15" pc monitor and thought it looked cool but when I saw it on the 43" HD...whole different ballgame. I play on a 24" HD pc monitor which hasn't let me down, but I may have to move the xbox back downstairs on the tv just to check it out.

I dont want it to destroy COD. I want the idiots who play COD to stay there. Battlefield seemed to be much more mature as far as players and game. I don't want all the bullshite carried over.

I'm starting to get nervous about this game. Random people I have never seen before are starting to pump it up. It is going to get so pumped up that, even if it's fantastic, it is not going to live up to the hype.

Yeah because BF has a strict age limit.
While I agree COD community overall is the most childish for a variety of reasons I doubt BF will be immune to the same kids.Douch bags play all sorts of games

I'm sure they do. But we'd never know.
Those kids who make the switch to BF3 will hate the game and leave. They will bitch bc they can't do the things they are used to. In the end battlefield will be clean and full of guys who know how the game works and how it's ment to be played. ( minus a few snipers )

Black ops is a COD game. Not much has changed from COD4 to BLOPS. Jumping from COD to BF is like going from earning $50,000 a year to $1,000,000. Huge difference.

I know that a lot of CoD players thought the exploits would be few and far between in Black Ops, but the kiddies still find a way to annoy the frick out of you with rockets, AK-74s, running through claymores, etc. But, that might be more CoD than little turd nuggets playing the game.
I think the two franchises are contrasts of each other. I like CoD more, but I feel like I should like Battlefield more.

Its 2 different styles of gaming so it wont obliterate the COD franchise.
