Help with an old game

I believe it was for the original Xbox.
It was an above screen look at the player. Like marvel ultimate alliance. But way darker. Like, could mainly just see a little past the red glow of your guns.
I want to say you could choose among 3 characters but I always chose the one with 2 six shooters.
I want to say there was an "undead" characteristic to it. You could definitely upgrade as you go.
I know this is vague.. but thanks in advance

I used chatgpt with your text ... Was it right?
"It sounds like you might be describing "Crimsonland." It's a top-down shooter game with a dark atmosphere, and players can choose from different characters, upgrade weapons, and face hordes of enemies, some of which might have a zombie-like appearance."

Negative on the 3 suggestions.
I think Hunter is the closest but I remember way tighter hallways and I can't recall melee options..

Ok... found it. And I was a little off with my memory.
The game is called "Loaded"
And it came out on the Playstation back in 95.

I remember playing the sequel called Reloaded on one of those PS demo discs back in the day. Didn’t even know it was a sequel at the time though

For a second I thought you were talking about Loaded on PS1.
Edit: I should have read the rest of the comments. I loved loaded on the PS1. The character with the dual flintlocks was the more enjoyable of the six options. I bought Re-Loaded 2-3 years ago on Steam but have yet to play it.

I replied to the post without reading any of the comments. Nice to see someone else remembering that series.
