Anyone playing this?

Steam Name: Rambeaux
I love working the artillery when people actually call for targets. But also love running with a squad when everyone’s rocking mics.

It’s a phenomenal game. I just have issues seeing anyone that’s why I like to run Artillery. I have a 1660 TI coming in next week. Then I’ll be upgrading my monitor and hopefully that resolves my issue a little. 99% of the time I get shot I don’t even see anyone. I did turn all my settings up to epic and it’s been a little better but I still find myself squinting and leaning in to try and see

Says it's a sim. Is this hard to pick up like ARMA or Operation Flashpoint?

I've been poking around at Day of Defeat Source lately, which is fun, but definitely dated and I feel I need a more modern WWII fix.

I love WWII but there are too many of these types of games and the player bases just end up being really small, albeit dedicated, and it probably makes barriers to entry for newer player difficult.

Let's see, I own:

Rising Storm/Red Orchestra 2
Day of Infamy
Battalion 1944
Battlefield V

Another buddy of mine plays Post Scriptum almost religiously yet that game doesn't see more than 300-500 players at any given time.

Not as overwhelming as ARMA. There aren’t a billion key bindings. I’d say closer to OFP: DR (never played the first OFP)

They had a free to play weekend a good while back and I thoroughly enjoyed it so I purchased it last week. So far everyone I’ve played with has been pretty helpful to noobs.

More like Squad. Add some toxicity and you have Hell Let Loose.

The only maps I enjoy playing are Foy, Hurtgen, St Marie, and Utah Beach and I only like warfare game mode. Offensive would be fun if people actually communicated and worked as a team instead of soloing tanks and running off. Same problems in warfare though. We cap an objective, watch my entire team charge to the next one as the enemy team sweeps back in and re-conquers what we just took.

I love the game and appreciate the early access progress, but the player base...

Yes, I posted a while back and didn't get much follow up.

I play regularly on one of the community servers. Love the game, only FPS i've been playing since I purchased.

Post Scriptum and Hell Let Loose are two of the most realistic and fun WW2 games on the market if you know what you’re doing and play as a team. Knowing what you’re doing meaning how to find and pin point the enemy positions and how to move up and attack. If you run around like it’s BFV or COD, your advance is doomed from the start.
