I'm hoping for:

Beaver Creek
Ivory Tower
..and then I guess they'll do one larger map, Zanzibar or Headlong or something.

Well, they've already admitted to Zanzibar 
I want Waterworks to be one. Maybe Turf too. Always enjoyed that map.
Eta: not turf, burial grounds.

This is what I am hoping for but also what I think it is.
I do kinda hope midship gets the makeover too
I use to like burial mounds alot. I think that would look great remade as well. Only problem with that map was the people getting out of the map

Didn't midship get remade for 3 or reach? That is one that really doesn't need a makeover. The outdoor ones would show the greatest improvement IMO.

I think they just map a map that was somewhat similar.

I don't remember tombstone at all. It's just a remake of hang em high, but I don't think I ever played it.

Yeah it was a remake but it just wasnt the same. It was okay but kinda a letdown honestly

Seriously though, looking through those maps brings back some mad nostalgia feels.
Halo 2, Rainbow Six 3, and Far Cry Instincts are probably my favorite multiplayer games/online experiences ever.
Has anybody whipped out any of the old games? Played some 4 last night. Still really fun. Though, going back to a 360 controller from the One is abysmal.

Yeah, Midship was remade for H3. I don't think they need to do Midship. As much as I love that map, it's a bit played out.
Another that is played out but would look really nice on the X1 engine is Sanctuary. Loved that map on H2.
And I agree with all the Burial Mounds love. I loved that map, but hated when the other team would get a one or two point lead at the start and superbounce somebody up while the rest of the team quit.
I can't wait to play some ranked H2. So many feels.

Yeah the feels are too much
And yeah the 360 controller is so bad. I play zombies with a friend from time to time and it's so horrid. I use to love it too lol

I did as well. The sticks feel like they are stuck in mud now. The One just about feels perfect.

Was foundation the one with a square-ish tan room with four rooms in the corners? It had little boxes you could stack up to block the door to protect against the zombies?

Yes, that was it. So much fun.
Also, if you had a sword, you could get up on top of the building,through the side windows in each room.

So will they be doing any DLC for this in the future? Like, possibly remastering additional levels with tOne's graphics?

I had that question as well. They never said yes or no to that.
And yeah I completely forgot about boarding action until I saw that video. We played snipers a lot there but also had a bunch of fun CTF games on that map

We might have to wait a few years until the 10 year anniversary of Halo 3 because Halo 5 is coming out next year.
