And Yeah Im gonna be on almost every night from 7ish-11. I like to go to the gym or play golf right after work then shower eat Halo. I have a few friends from back in the day but I dont know how often they are gonna be on

I really hope we have a good squad. I was normally a fall on a grenade get a bunch of assist type guy. Obviously Id get my kills but for the most part wasnt kill leader. I accounted for a lot of kills every game.


One of the greatest things from watching that video was seeing things like sidewinder and stuff. I was thinking oh shite I forgot about that we use to have some crazy fun Flag games on there. Happened to me with a couple maps that I just kinda forgot about

So you weren't a main slayer. Nothing wrong with that. Every team needs a role player. That shite is important...seriously.

Again, nothing wrong with this. I'm not the best player, but I'm pretty good. Will I be as good as I was playing all day everyday, like I did in high school? Maybe, but I doubt it.

I don't even know if you guys watched my mini Halo 3 montage that I threw together in 30 minutes, but you can (sort of) get a feel for my skill level. Btw, skill gaps in H2 > H3, and it's not even close. I just hope I can close the gap on the skills I used to have.

ETA: If you do watch it, I'm well aware that there are way too many transition slides.

as far as your monitor question goes, i'm no expert at all. All i did was some youtubing and figure out which one the MLG teams were using at that time, and it happened to be this one BenQ-XL2420Z


I have absolutely no issues with the monitor. The only flaw is NO SPEAKERS. I can only hear in game sound through a headset, I've been through 3 turtlebeach headsets, keep have faulty wires make crackling noises. Really wish it had a set of speakers to get me through my headset purchases.

I wasnt because I didnt need to be. My buddy was so good that I just played my role and had his back/went in so he could come in a clean up. We mostly played doubles too so its a different game that 4v4.

I couldnt even watch with all those transitions. I could never actually see what was going on

When I'm not playing, I'm going to be watching the pros play on Twitch.

Thanks. And yeah, I didn't have a reason to buy one until now (no halo available on it). I'm definitely getting one in the next two weeks. I'm gonna justify the purchase to myself by saying, "Look, you spend $450 now, and you won't be spending money on anything else in the next 2 months because all you'll be doing is playing Halo."
