This wasn't a thing, and anyone claiming otherwise is lying. I guess it's also possible they simply weren't alive yet/old enough and are making assumptions, so I'll leave that possibility open. However, no one can truthfully make those claims. The terms "SJW" and "woke" were not even used in the fashion mentioned itt when San Andreas was released.

Yep. It's amazing that these folks tried to make a claim they could have verified was false with a simple 5 minute web search.

The "hot coffee" outrage was silly for sure, especially in games like these. The graphics were decent, but they weren't good enough to pretend that was something outrageous that the PC gaming public in the era of the internet needed to be protected from.
