Leaning toward DQ11 definitive edition this time for ps4 even though I’ve play every single on offer. Give me a good JRPG to pay. I like life play ll kinea from Demon Souls to Ghost of Tsushima, but especially the ones the challenge my inner soul their JRPGS. Some
Games I’m played FF ALL OF THEM; not the they’re not my favorite; chrono trigger and most other small systems you can throw at me I’d prefer to roll with ps2 or plus. All FromtSoft, All of Atalas, all of many many many other great JRPg game’s from all the popular studiousl. Getting less popular I’ve ever tried to enjoy games like Coden Vein, Respnance Fate 4K, Scarlwt Nexu; the Last Rembrent,

Lost Odyssey
Shadow Hearts
Shadow Hearts II: Covenant

You'll need a PS2 emulator for the Shadow Hearts games because they haven't been re-released for modern consoles or remastered. Used copies are $100-$200 each.

I think DQ11 is vastly overrated, but I also think you should give it a shot since you haven't played it. I'm definitely in the minority though, but I much prefer 8 and 9 over 11 for a plethora of reasons.

A few suggestions that were really fun in recent memory:
-Bug Fables (scratches the Paper Mario itch)
-Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (if you like Castlevania)
-Shin Megami Tensei V
-Ys I, II, VIII, and Origin (whole series really. Great actions JRPGs by Nihon Falcom)

DG11 would be my second play through. My 1st was played on Switch with all the extra outfits, tonkins and extra plot. Etc. this would be the same version but on PS4 player more to enjoy and observe it

I’m on iPhones and usually in a rush. When I have time I clean up my posts. But thanks!

For posterity I’ve played all Ff games, most DQ games; not looking for anything way old school but have played all the classics. Switch I haven’t played many I’ve looked into octopus that travelers and three houses. PS4 anything mainstream assume I’ve likely played. Steam game refs welcome it just can’t melt my computer it plays stuff like the FF trilogy that’s it’s medium.
