Ghost Recon Wildlands Free Weekend

installed it last night to try it out, the PVP ghost war is actually pretty fun, anyone else still playing this game or playing for the free weekend? It reminds me a lot of rainbow 6 siege but long distance fighting instead of camping inside

Sweet. Been waiting for something like this to happen so they'll run a sale on the ghost recon stuff. Just bought the gold edition with all the dlc. Normally $99, on sale for $33

I have prob 100+ hours into ghost wars.
Can confirm it’s really good. A few tweaks and it’d be the best multiplayer shooter.

played a few matches of multiplayer and enjoyed it. after the first match they did put all the 30+ level players vs all the noobs for the next 4+ rounds, but we won some rounds still.
went ahead and bought gold.

We actually haven’t played in a month so we’re a bit rusty. As long as you’re not a trash camping sniper we can get along

Some tips:
The meta (as of a month ago) was to pick at least two assault class characters, a medic and/or scout, and if you choose not to have the extra support character, another assault works.
Work together and communicate. I wouldn’t put more than 50m between yourselves unless you know what you’re doing. Playing vs experienced groups you’ll find where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Often times if you try to lone wolf it, it’ll be a 1 v 3 or 4.
If you do play sniper, don’t sit and watch a road/bushes/building. You got to move around and locate the enemy. Sometimes lay down cover fire.
When playing a support class, you don’t have to play super passive. This bugs me too when playing with randoms. You’ll find there’s a lot of noobs AND experienced users who don’t know what to do when being rushed when by themselves. If you’ve played Fortnite (I’ve seen your posts), it’s very similar how some guys just aren’t comfortable when having to make quick decisions.
Most importantly, PLAY WITH COMMON SENSE! Don’t guve away your position while taking pot shots. Don’t try to rush somebody who has high ground or behind cover. Find a way to ply each map and go from there.

I just spent two hours getting my arse handed to me by the Predator. Can’t get all the click click clack out of my head.
