Rough. Went until about 1AM last night. Couldn't really see straight that point. Unfortunately I'm always going to get a late start b/c of the kiddos. And they were next level shite heads last night.

Everything is in except for the gpu. Wanted to see if I would boot to Bios prior to going any further. Go to connect my monitor via the hdmi rear mobo I/O and it's not seated correctly. There are prongs that should be outside the female hdmi and display port connectors that are currently sitting on the inside. I thought I had seated the mobo correctly as I took note of the prongs on other connectors on the I/O interface, but I overlooked those two. Will most likely have to unscrew the mobo to adjust its I/O shield alignment.

Cables are a pain in the arse, as the case is a bit tight. And although I had no monitor, I didn't have any bad light indicator when I powered up. So, that was a plus. I'll get a fresh start this evening, clear head. Definitely didn't want to have to frick with unfastening the mobo.

Boot to bios was a success last night. Drivers (LAN/WIFT/etc) need to be updated (which is retarted, but whatever), so I couldn't get anything done online. Was too late to start getting drivers on usb from another machine. So, I'll resume this afternoon.
Have a few nagging RGB issues, but it's RGB..so I did that to myself.

What is the timeline for aftermarket GPUs to come out after Nvidia launches a card?

I heard the RTX 2080 will be released very very soon. I still have 2 months on the EVGA upgrade path.

Win 10. Apparently an old Win10. Probably why the issue with network. NVIDIA driver wouldn't install either. Assuming once Win10 (circa 2015) is made current, I should be able to proceed.

Apparently the 2080 is weaker than the 1080ti. But apparently they are releasing the 2080ti at the same time as well. These are all rumors.

And I'm in the same boat as well, got 62 days left to step up
