Something like that probably won't scale well when it needs to be 400x50 but I can try.

I am probably alone i this thinking but eff nintendo they are a relic of the past at this point, merely a shadow of a once glorious gaming giant.
I loved my NES and my Snes but those days are long gone and pretty much forgotten. To be honest i cherish my memories of my old atari and intellivision more than that of my NES.
I really wonder how many of the younger gamers here actually owned an NES.

That's fine, been out doing things since I mentioned it, I know I do stuff like that all the time. If it looks like crap, let's just keep it off.
One thing I was wondering.. have you tried the star, or sonic coin?
I still think you are going to have the same problem possibly because of the 3D effect you have put into the boxes, but maybe they would look ok?

Would be cool to work in a reference for Xbox and PlayStation somehow. It's already representing Nintendo and PC (somewhat).

J/K .. actually I think the circle with the green x through it would be a perfect period, but with copywrite law, I don't think stout can use that, since it's the X Box symbol.

Maybe a modified version of either the controllers or the logos? And I forget....why is it not an issue with the Nintendo controller?

controllers are fine, because you can't copywrite the picture of a controller, however the logos are a NO GO AT ALLLLLLL.
As for the controllers.. have you seen modern controllers? Those things are so boxy and weird, not to mention.. they now put their logos on the front of the controllers..
