What is y'alls strategy when you get rushed in your fort? I'm getting better at building but lately what happens is I throw up a fort and while I'm engaged with someone else somebody ramps up, drops in and shotguns me.

The purple tac is incredible. Plus if you are playing in squad no one ever wants small bullets so they will just give them to you.

When playing are you wearing a headset or playing through tv speakers? I play with Turtle Beaches and I can hear people building behind me when I'm engaged with someone else. Happened to me this past weekend with your sceniaro. I heard someone building behind me so I switched to my shotgun and moved in to a corner and waited for them to drop in. It worked because I killed them. One game i built a roof over me to protect me.

I have a sound bar and I crank it up pretty loud. I guess a side note is - should I be building a small fort in every circle, or only wait until I see someone to build and engage? Obviously you have to build when you get to top 10, but is it better to just run around and loot before then? On the one hand, having a fort gives you an advantage from a height perspective and having cover, but it also makes you a target and prone to getting rushed.

jump and pump lmao. had two dudes launch pad into Robe and I's 1x1 tower yesterday. got both with the pump (then got blown up by a dude with an RPG)
in duos yesterday, we had 4 2nds in a row, 6 on the day. we both ragequit and i couldnt bring myself to play at night

What about building strategy? Build a small fort in each circle (after checking the nearby town for loot) or keep running around until you see someone and then build?

I only build when it get close to the end. Most of time I'm still running around looking for loot (mainly ammo). Majority of time I get to the end there is always someone with a ridiculous fortress built.

i dont build forts until teh very end. always build for engagements

Anyone else check out blitz mode yet? It's pretty legit, definitely makes the game way more intense

Haven't tried it yet. Anybody else really like the Burst AR? I used to hate the grey ones but now that I'm getting more greens and blues I'm finding they are pretty awesome. If you are aiming anywhere near the head and hit it's pretty much a kill unless they have full health and shield.

Ive only been playing a few weeks and between 20v20 and blitz mode I feel like its helping me tremendously.
blitz has been great practice moving/building/engaging that you don't see in solos til there's 20ish people left. will keep playing this mode til they pull it off.
