Why does Treyarch view my right index finger as a cheating device? I am prone to using the guns that fire one shot at a time, but I'm seriously sick of the gun jamming all the time when I press the trigger fast.

They have an anti-cheating function that prevents people from using some sort of modded FAL and M-14, making them automatic. It prevents the gun from firing at all, but still does it if you tap the button too fast with your finger, which I do.

FAL > M14, its a good arse gun but theres better options all around.

because there is actually a cycling / max firing rate for the weapon and the slower semi firing rate is likely balanced with other features...it's not about cheating...it's about you wanting the benefits of both just because you can move your finger really quick.

This is also true. I've been able to have my cake and eat it too for the past three games, so I kind of wish they would let me do the same now.
