I only got into the series with Awakening and loved it, but its been a while since I've played it and I'm still pretty new to the series. Should I just start out with Birthright and ease back into it or just sack up and go Conquest?

I wish I could tell you, but conquest is... tough. Not many parallel missions which cut into relationship and XP building.

If you started on Awakening, just stick with Birthright.

Yea I went ahead and got Birthright, I like tougher challenges but since you can get Conquest for $20 as DLC I decided just to ease my self back into it.
Also I had to try four different stores before I finally found a place with the game instock, must be selling really well.
