I don’t think Marvel is a good route to take.
Needs to be more interesting than that.
Plus, I bet getting Marvel characters would be incredibly hard to do, compared to other properties.

I say it because it would open Smash up to maybe it's next iteration since Sakurai is done with it after the next Pack (if there is one).
And they got an exclusive Marvel game. It would sell, and that's motivation.
Dante would just be a big letdown. Master Chief is a way better option.
The Bioshock listing is interesting this week as well.....

Lol I feel you. At least he uses all of the Relics and not just the sword. Hopefully this is the last FE character we get. Sucks tho because we’ve missed out on some way better FE characters, like Hector and The Dark Knight.

He got a stronger reaction from me out of the cup head mii costume, for Christ’s sake. 
I didn’t really dig most of fighter pack 1 if I’m being honest, but I’m sure I’ll roll the dice on fighter pack 2. 6 more opportunities to be disappointed by Sakurai, lol.

Piranha Plant and Banjo were really nice additions. I think Terry and Hero were awesome. Byleth would be great if there weren't already 27 Fire Emblem characters. Joker is the only real dud.
I don't know why Nintendo avoids the obvious stuff. Or the really out there stuff that would be a huge announcement like Chief or Freeman or Overwatch.
They've just actively avoided so many obvious adds. Heck, I know we have Zelda characters, but one of the BotW heroes would have been better than Byleth to market BotW 2. Phoenix Wright would be interesting. Another Xenoblade character to push Xenoblade:DE.

Yeah, I’m being a little hyperbolic. Just disappointed with the reveal today. I audibly groaned when the trailer started.
I just wish those characters had a little more personality. They all feel interchangeable to me and their character models are virtually identical. At least this new one seems to have a relatively unique move set.
