It's getting so damned difficult to wait for the likely Zen 3 refresh...

you lucky bastard. i've been trying for that for weeks now.

as far as the monitor goes, it's got to be a pretty hell-acious monitor for a total price of the bundle to be $1500. maybe blue can chime in.

1440p/240hz aint cheap and it's really nice. I don't know what kind of monitor you have now though. I would probably still prefer 4k/144hz over 1440p/240hz since they're right about the same price, but I've never played at 240hz to make a fair argument (plus I would make love to this GN950 if I could )

You're essentially paying $800 for the 3070 which isnt terrible.

Yea reviews are excellent - the 3070ti isn't what I was looking for because of the LHR. Maybe I try to re-sell it and recoup a little cost of the monitor? I need a monitor anyway and this thing seems like a beast

LINK

This is the monitor I have currently. I have had it for a few years now so I am just assuming it isn't what I would need if I end up with a high end gaming PC.

Or would this LINK be a better alternative factoring in that it is ~$400 cheaper. My goal is to have a minimum 3070ti, preferred 3080 GPU.

With the “old” vs LHR split, I’m going to be curious to see if prices for the original 30 series cards stays up even after the next Gen comes out. I was planning to just sell my 3070 to a friend, but selling it for more than I bought it for two years later would be hard to pass up

That monitor in the bundle you got is pretty sick and the 3070ti wouldn't be bad at driving, but the second monitor you linked is still nice, just about 100hz less (I have no familiarity with 240hz, someone else will have to chime in if it's worth it over 144hz)

I can't decided if I want to pull this trigger on this Shuffle. The hassle of trying to sell the 3070ti is kind of making me think no. I don't have an Ebay account and have no clue how difficult it would be to sell when having zero reviews.

You could probably sell it locally on Facebook Marketplace very quickly for a nicely scalped price.

I don't know what they're going for on ebay, but knock it off a $100 or so and you'll probably get a ton of hits

frick it, pulled the trigger. Worst case I start a PC build with a 3070ti. Best case, I sell it and get that badass monitor for a couple hundred off its normal price.

Good call. You can definitely sell that local on facebook marketplace if you live in a decent area and probably pay for most of the monitor too!

As awful as a value as the 3070ti is in theory, I would be shocked to find out that you couldn't get several hundred dollars over msrp if you resold it, even with the limited hash rate.

Blue, I may order a prebuilt with a 3090 in it but don’t really need the 3090 to play the games that I do. Would you be interested in it at some price between msrp and scalpers?

Possibly. I might be getting a 3080ti from Facebook next week

If I do get the 3080ti, I would possibly interested in trading my 3070+cash for it?
