Yeah I've spent entirely to much doing side quest and hunts.

Yeah. 15 hours and I just made it to the beach.

Does anyone use fast travel? I feel like the loading screens take to long and it cost money to fast travel.

I used it a lot at first but now I just let them drive and collect the AP and do stuff on my phone or whatever during the drive. Plus you can get chances for different photo op side quests along the road too; which are nothing really but idk I like em / think it's cool.
Edit: ^ get road runner skill off the exploration skill tree to get AP while in the car

Got a good way to AP farm.
Get the skill that lets you earn AP from warp strike kills (if that's a skill; it might just be default).. once you're strong enough to one hit kill the lvl 2 wolves or whatever they see by hammerhead; just keep redoing that first hunt option you get and it's good for 6-7 AP per run if you just quickly warp strike them all. Takes probly 2 min to accept the hunt, run to the spot, warp strike em all, and walk back. Plus there's a little gil in it for ya too.

Is there a way to see your completed quests?
Posted on 12/4/16 at 2:42 pm to tconle2
I haven't noticed but I also haven't looked.

I looked around and couldn't find it.

Got to Tennebrae last night. Decided I'd play an hour of FF VII before going to bed and so I've naturally played more VII than XV
It's a good game but the story isn't doing it for me. I like how the dungeons are laid out. I'm just not digging ascension and the story isn't too intriguing. I'm definitely going to finish
It's a worthy entry for sure and I'm glad I bought it. They have the design right but they need to get the story up to speed on the next go round.

Hit triangle while viewing the quest log in the menu.

No. it's not that bad, but keep in mind that when it gives you a warning on not being able to return, take it seriously.

This is bullshite. The first one I encountered said that and I said frick it and went and was back in the Open World seriously 10 minutes later.
The warning is bullshite and doesn't mean anything.

For sure. I'll say it again. Stepping stone twords the right direction. 15 will serve for a better 7 remake.

The first warning is bullshite. Every warning afterwards is not

I finished last night, clocked it at around 26 hours. All sorts of shite went down in the second half of the game, but I didn't like that there were multiple instances where something was resolved off screen or I ended up not caring about plot points that I probably should have. I think it was due to a lack of build up either plot wise or character progression wise, which was almost nonexistent for anyone outside of the main four
And dear god Chapter 13 was so fricking tedious that I just wanted that shite to be over and done with. Which is probably how Noctis felt as well
Overall, the story left a lot to be desired but I had a good time playing through it, nonetheless
Oh and I guess for anyone who cares I ended up with 1 gold, 2 silver and 36 bronze trophies during my playthrough

Not sure how anyone can feel any real connection to the story after 26 hours. I'm 12 hours in and on chapter 3. Just got here. I've just been doing sidequests and honestly love every main story mission thus far. I haven't wasted time just wandering aimlessly either.
I feel like 26 hours is a real rush through, but that's just me.

I got tired of doing the same quests over and over and I naturally started progressing through the game faster as I got towards the second half. I was at 14 hours in Chapter 4 or 5, but starting in chapters 6 or 7 you start getting restricted in where you can go and by the start of chapter 9 its only story missions till basically right before the end of the game.
At that point, I figured I might as well finish the story, then go back and finish up side quests and trophies.
I don't think doing more side quests would resolve my issues with the story, which become more apparent once you get to the latter half of the game.
Like I said though, I had a lot of fun playing it, but having finished the main story, I just felt that, plot wise, it was average at best. I'm curious about what other people think as they get closer to the end of the story
