FIFA Double League (360) *Leagues Created, Info in OP*

Starting a league.
League 1 Info
league name: TD League 1
password: tigers
League 2 Info
League Name: TD League 2
Abbreviation: TD2
Password: chicken
This is for League 2.
DRAFT ORDER, LEAGUES AND AVAILABLE TEAMS ON THE NEXT POST
8 teams in 2 leagues.
Bottom 4 from league 1 are relegated and top 4 from league 2 are promoted.
Each "Season" last 3 weeks.
Time tables for games will be set. Vaguely 5 games a week.
Once we get 16 we will randomly draw numbers, this will be the order we will draw teams.
NO 5 Star Teams
If you want to join after it starts, the bottom for of the league 2 will have to take on any newcomers to keep their spot in league 2.
We will iron out any other issues when they arise.
The first season we will put each other in 2 league sand the top 4 from each league are league 1 and the bottom 4 league 2.
If you can't play 5 games a week then this isn't for you.

So we'll play each team twice per season? I know that's the minimum when setting up the league.
Are you going to use the playoffs at the end of each season? Maybe the top 4 just to add something interesting.
Also, I think we should all use the same star teams.

Yea. I want the season to be long enough to be meaningful but quick enough to keep people interested.

I'm cool with that but I'd still rather more well known teams than a bunch of teams that a lot of people haven't heard of. I think it will probably be better if we just make a list of teams that we agree will be unfair to use then randomly have a draft order then pick teams.

Personally, I think most 4.5 and 5 star teams don't have that much different from them (minus man city, barca and rm).
But we should do an MLS league, try to get as many people as possible, and maybe get every team a person. I have some friends, not on TD, that would be interested

That would be fairly difficult to do. Let's just do the lottery. If we wanted we could do a lottery for every season. I don't really care one way or the other, I just want people to play.

How about a lottery for draft order, then pick from the list of teams. Maybe have a draft every few seasons to mix things up. Or even throw in an Mls season. Just throwing ideas out their on how to keep it interesting, I really just want some reliable people to play.

We should do MLS teams and run an MLS franchise like they do irl.
We could also do some sort of a transfer period where we start out with a sum of money and bid on certain players. You can get more money by winning tourneys and games. This will make the league more interesting, rather than keeping the same teams every year
