Sounds like Just Cause 2.
Have driving mechanics improved at all between FC2 and FC3? I found driving in FC2 to be terrible. One of the main reasons I quit playing it. Not like JC2 where driving mechanics are pretty decent.

Well, you are comparing third person driving to first person driving. It's exactly like driving in FC2 i.e. it's first person and more difficult than Just Cause.

Even with the first-person mod, JC2 driving is infinitely better than FC2 driving. FC2 was very clunky.

Well I hated FC2 driving because the game thought it was clever sending you across the entire game map twice in the same mission while everything you passed tried to chase you down and kill you.

The mechanics are a little better, though to be honest, I pretty much never drive unless I find a four wheeler and want to drive down a mountain

Has to be one of the greatest games ever made. Just going hunting is an adventure in itself, I saw a deer on the bank and somebody else shot it so I was going to skin it and a croc attacked me out the water and pulled me under out of nowhere! You have to watch for tigers and lepards they are always trolling... fricking amazing gane

Yep. Watch out for the kamodo dragons too. I was stalking some enemies in the game from a hillside, trying to sneak up and take them all out with my blade, ten all of a sudden 3 dragons come out of nowhere and kill all the enemies in a matter of seconds and force me to run away screaming like a little girl, firing my grenade launcher wildly at them.
I hate those damn dragons.
Also c be careful when you kill your first shark. Other sharks like to come check out the blood party.

Has happened a couple of times with me and tigers. I hear him rumbling, but in my mind, it's ambient noise as I look down the scope of my sniper rifle, about to liberate a camp. Nope.
And the only way I deal with sharks now is to find those gun boats and park it out in the middle of the water. Kill them all before I dive down.

Yea, I've taken to getting the seadoo and running them all over. Luckily I've completed all the shark hunts.

I got the shredder really early in the game and it is by far one of the best options out there.

This too. It's definitely one my favorite guns. Fire rate of a SMG, killing power of an assault rifle.
ETA: Those two guns will make your life a whole lot easier when it comes to the camps and such.

Yea, it is pretty sick. My load is bow completely leveled up, silenced pistol, silenced .50 cal, and grenade launcher.
Also, the mission with the drug fields might be one of the funniest gamig moments I've had.
