This.
It has a very high learning curve with importance being placed on map knowledge, ammo, and the in-game economy.
I feel like Pestily is pretty much the gold standard for EFT how-to's on YT.
Airwing Marine is a really cool follow on Twitch and he has great videos about how to make money with traders and what's big on the Flea Market.
SensaiScav is also a really cool as hell guy on Twitch and he focuses mostly on helping newer players learn the game. His and Airwing's twitch is a lot smaller than Pesitly so they are great at answering questions. Join both of those guy's discords. Sensai will actually do raids with new players some days.
There are some ammo charts you can find on google that are a huge help. It's pretty vital in helping to know if ammo you find in a raid is worth keeping or not.
You can go into raids in "offline mode" where you don't risk losing any of your gear. But you don't get any XP or get to keep any loot. It's a great way to start learning the map for loot and enemy spawns.
I fricking love this game and just wish my old COD buddies would switch to PC and start playing.

ESPECIALLY now that top tier ammo/rigs/armor are banned from the flea market meaning they are rare rare now.

This game looks so fun even running solo. Makes me want to get a Pc and ditch console

I've been absolutely loving this wipe.
Im lvl 32, I dont have as many quests done as I should because I run so many scav runs just to get money for my hideout.
But thats fully upgraded now with the exception of the Solar Panels and BTC Farm III
Love VOIP
really getting used to inertia
HATE the queue, but I think they are supposed to be working on that more today
Love the Flea nerfs but frick that lvl30 rep needed to get three slots

I’ve been watching Doc play it a few times. He played with DrLupo today—it’s more of a tactical game than a run and gun, COD type. You have a stamina bar that drops quickly if you’re moving with a lot of gear early on, which makes real world sense.
You have to learn loot routes, get down to the nitty gritty with weapon attachments, quests of course.
And exfil without getting blasted because you lose all your loot I think apparently it you play with a teammate, they can put your shite in a backpack and hide the backpack away from your body so nobody finds it and steals the stuff in it. So there’s incentive to team up I believe

I hate playing solo, so I usually end up playing Scav
Was listening to the Scav Talk podcast, I spend way too much time chasing money at the beginning and not enough time chasing XP. I need to sell everything in my inventory and just take out budget rigs and quest 24/7.

I'll probably be on this afternoon and likely from time to time this weekend. I need a 2nd to do some quests on Customs. Every time I try that map I end up trading kills against a duo. I'm level 17 or 18.

I learned that two wipes ago. I was just trying to make money on interchange. It is key to level up early wipe. Quests are key.

Factory night runs are usually pretty empty. I'll jump on more than likely from time to time today

There are obvious pros, but some real cons for casual players.
If you aren't spot on with your comms and giving out location it is super easy to shoot your squad for a TK.
A real good solo player has an advantage with being able to strike quickly and than flank because as a squad you have to move in one precise direction all together. Get split up and you're shooting each other about minute later.

Also my A key is broken. Like...it works...but the piece that holds it onto the keyboard is broken. So if I don't tap it perfectly up and down sometimes it pops off lol.
