Just starting, think level 12 or 13?

I went the assassin (shadow assasin)route, then got bored with the button smashing combo lack of active management.

I switched from daggers to bow and grabbed Siphoning. waited two levels before I did and now I just spam rotate the siphon main(magika)(initial dmg plus DOT w/healing effect) and the Poison arrow(initial damge with poison DOT)(Stamina)

I can cast both at range with just two buttons (L1/R1), and get the dots going while kiting, but when they get up close, I can shadow(invisible), then KD backstab(even with bow attached)

Also, a glitch I've found is that I can stealth(crit buff) draw back the bow for max dmg but then hit the siphon button which shoots both the bow and the cast simultaneously(which I follow with instant Poison bow). This Kills enemies at my level, and get's to the 25% HP for 3 levels higher.

Question is, since I'm new to the game, is this a known, oftenly played build?

Also, how do I play PvP....I looked through the menu and I didn't see a place nor a place to group for a raid.

anyone play this game?

i was playing it a lot, but got bored.

they force you to use magic, which is lame. I wanted to have a nord warrior who could cut, slash, and bash.

but once u get to higher levels, and start facing 2-3 bosses, ur screwd with out being a class with magic.

I go alone, but i should be able too, i shouldn't have to have a party to face a boss, or even normal fighters.

for PVP, you need to go to campaigns on player, in game menu. it's below champion points menu.

u on na or euro server? i was on euro for long time, switched to NA, but man the lag is kind of screwy on NA servers.

I play mostly PvE and mostly alone, but will group when the game is busy. I play EUR server and little to no issues except the huge time difference if wanting to group. I don't play a lot, but am steady in a little each week and am VR12. I'm a Dragon Knight Imperial, I've maxed Destructive staff, dual wield and 1hand and shield, and all DK specials, so I cannot help you on the bow information, but there is a data base for build types if you Google it.

The bow is actually pretty shitty right now. It's DPS is miserable compared to most of the others. Two handed is pretty awesome for single target and pretty boring. Dual Wield is really boring and you basically spam steel tornado. Destroy staff is solid but nothing great. Resto staff is surprisingly good for ranged questing.

As a night blade, your options are go stamina or go magica. Magic night blades are the rage right now in PVP because they are just a pain in the arse to kill as you spam your clock ability a lot. As a magic night blade, in PVP, your job is scout and gank. You tie up enemies long enough for your group to finish their objective.

To PVP, you go into your main menu and enter a campaign. Blackwater is the non vet PVP but all will scale you to match everyone else. Problem with non vet PVP is that 99% of the players have tons of champion points which come into play later but are account wide to use. So those guys can tinker in their builds to add extra damage, shields, healing, etc.

I played for a while but got burnt out pretty quick. I tried to play it like a regular Elder Scrolls which was fun for a while but lost its shine. I did find that for PvE the upgrade Arrow Storm skill with the fire element upgrade did a ton of damage. And if you could time the Poison Arrow against a mage to interrupt casting it was useful.
